Our Approach
Whether we are working for a Senior Management Team or a Front line Sales Team our fundamental approach is to help clients:
- Developing strategy with execution in mind.
- Breaking Strategy Down into Executable parts.
- Building an Execution Culture.

2-Day Strategy and Execution Workshops
The 2-Day Execution Workshop with clients is designed to:
- Be clear about what success looks like.
- Identify Prime Numbers (Key Measures of Success).
- Identify High Return Strategic Targets.
- Develop 90-Day CONTRACT. (To ensure instant action after the Workshop).
- Begin to Build an Execution Culture.
The Workshop includes a significant amount of preparation with the CEO or a selection of senior managers. We recommend the workshop include Senior Managers and a selection of staff drawn from throughout the organisation. This program has a build in follow up mechanism to ensure the Execution Discipline gains momentum.
SALES X Workshops
This designed specifically for sales teams and includes their alignment with Marketing or Product Management Divisions. The workshop includes the 3 Execution Disciplines:
- Sales Execution CONTRACT
- GAP MEETINGS
- CONTRACT Resets
It includes a 30-minute presentation on Sales Execution followed by a workshop. At the completion on the workshop each participant walks away with a 90-Day Sales Execution CONTRACT ready to execute. The program includes a Preparation Workshop with Key Stakeholders prior to the main workshop. It also includes extensive follow up training and consulting.
Follow Up Training and Consulting (Live Coaching)
Each program has a built in mechanism for follow up coaching which most clients elect to include. Since Execution takes place in the work place Building an Execution Discipline effectively requires us to be at the front line to watch Managers and the Executor interact.
In most cases this work Centres on the Gap Meeting. The weekly or fortnightly 20 minute meeting with managers and their teams where they discuss openly and honestly:
- Results
- What the Plan says versus what they actually achieved.
- Identifying the Gaps.
- Reason
- The Reason WHY the achieved the result.
- Including identifying the Root Cause.
- Response
- What their response or action will be.
- How will they leverage success and respond to failure.
Over the past six years we have attended close to 1000 Gap Meeting to guide assist both the manager and the participants to build clarity, focus, alignment and accountability.

How do we prepare?
Before every workshop we work hard to understand your business and the challenges you face. Specifically we want to understand you Execution Gap. XGAP!
We usually do this through 2 to 3 meetings with key stakeholders and in some programs will build a Preparation Workshop into our program delivery to ensure the best possible results.
Where are the workshops held?
Workshops are normally conducted at a venue and time suitable to the client. In more than 75% of cases our programs tie in with existing company events, like conferences or quarterly meetings.
Who should attend?
This is something we take sometime to discuss with each client. We have conducted workshops and follow up Training and consulting for just Senior Management Teams and on other occasions we have conduct programs that includes a Sales Force of up to 500 at one time.
The key question to answer is who needs to be involved if WE as an organisation, department or team are going to Execute Effectively.
